Sterling Equestrian Center's lessons, summer camps, training, and sales are under the direction of Cathy Stephenson.
Cathy has more than 25 years of experience training award winning show horses and students. Her patience and professional coaching are rewarded daily as her students and horses successfully compete at countless Eventing competitions.
Cathy's passion for horses extends to 'off hours' as she hunts regularly. She participates in distinguished hunt clubs such as Bear Creek Hounds and Midland Fox Hounds.
Katie Sisk is Sterling's barn administrator and manages Sterling Equestrian Center's schedules for lessons, special events, and horse shows. She has ridden with Cathy for 15 years and is very knowledgable about riding and competition. She has a Bachelor's in Public Relations from Berry College. Tatum Irwin is the Barn Supervisor. She assists our beginner riders with tacking and horse care and helps our more experienced riders as needed. She has been riding for fifteen years and has dedicated her life to horses. She is currently working on getting her associate's degree in Equine Physiology! Prior to coming to Sterling, she was competing in the Hunter Equitation ring. She currently competes Sterling's High Cotton , aka "Emilie", at the Beginner Novice level.
